Connecting hoses, caps, and other accessories to an IBC tote can be confusing because there are so many different thread types utilized on the bladder itself as well as on the valves.

The PDF below describes the most common thread sizes used by IBC tote manufacturers.

For help selecting a valve:

  • Review Section 1 ("IBC Bottle Threads"), which describes the threads on the tote itself.

For help attaching equipment (hoses, caps, etc.) to the valve:

  • Review Section 2 ("IBC Valve Threads"), which describes the the various valves that are available.
