What is the function of the surfactant blend in GLB Enzyme Technology?
The surfactant blend serves to emulsify the binders that hold organic contaminants together. These surfactants modify the surface tension of the liquid that entrains the contaminant. This helps to break apart contaminant particles into smaller pieces and produces more surface area for the surfactant and enzymes to work on. This enables the enzymes to rapidly enhance the indigenous bacteria to act upon (eat) these contaminants, while allowing these bacteria to replicate using minimum energy.

What are the optimal storage conditions for products that contain GLB Enzyme Technology, and what is the expected shelf life?
It is best to store all GLB Enzymes Products at ambient conditions or refrigerate. It is not recommended to expose the product to prolonged temperatures above 120°F, direct sunlight or to allow it to freeze. Shelf life of enzymes is related to its storage conditions, but under optimal conditions shelf life can exceed one year. Refrigeration will prolong shelf life. Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
