Balance pool water chemistry for fun at the pool with friends and floaties

What is Balanced Pool Water?

Balanced pool water is achieved by using chemicals and other additives to keep the water healthy. Monitoring factors like pH, Chlorine (Sanitizer), Total Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness, Cyanuric Acid and Total Dissolved Solids help ensure that your water will not harm your swimmers or your swimming pool.
Optimal Ranges:
pH: 7.4 – 7.8
Chlorine: 1.0 – 3.0 ppm
Total Alkalinity: 80 – 140 ppm
Calcium Hardness: 200 – 400 ppm
Cyanuric Acid: 25 – 50 ppm
Total Dissolved Solids: Below 1500 ppm

Be sure to have a maintenance routine that incorporates equipment inspection and regular cleaning of the pool itself. Have a test kit, chemicals and other additives like Orb-3 Pool Enzymes on hand so your pool water is clean and healthy whenever you're ready to dive in.
